How QR table ordering works (and why guests like it)
From scanning the code to the kitchen ticket: what actually happens when a guest orders from their table.
QR table ordering puts your menu on every table. Guests scan a code with their phone camera, browse your menu, and send their order straight to your team — without waiting to catch a server's eye.
1. Every table gets its own code
Each table has a unique, hard-to-guess code. When a guest scans it, the menu already knows which table they are at, so nobody has to type a table number and orders can't be sent from somewhere else.
2. Guests browse your menu, in your brand
The menu opens in the browser with your logo and colours. Sold-out dishes are marked instantly, sizes and add-ons are clear, and prices are always the current ones.
3. The order lands on your dashboard
Your team sees the new order within seconds, confirms it and moves it through preparing and ready. The guest's phone updates as the status changes.
Guests choose how to pay when they place the order: online from their phone, or at the counter on their way out. Want another round? They simply scan and order again.
Why guests like it
No app to install, no waiting for a menu or for someone to take the order, and they can pay the way they prefer. For you, that means fewer trips to the table and fewer order mistakes.
